John D. B. Carr is a proud Prince George's County resident. Growing up in Suitland, Maryland, John attended Bishop McNamara High School. After graduating from Bishop McNamara, John attended the University of Maryland at College Park, focusing his passion on service and protecting his community, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology & Criminal Justice. After graduating, John started his career at the Prince George's County Office of the Sheriff as a deputy sheriff. While working, John continued his education by attending Norwich University, earning a Master's degree in Public
